Southern Avionics Company will be holding technical training classes on the following dates:

2 Day Training Event:

  • WHEN: October 2-3, 2014
  • WHERE: Houston, Texas, USA
  • COST: Please contact us for more information. Cost includes:
    • Hotel for 3 nights (April 30 – May 2 or October 1-3)
    • Meals: 2 days (breakfast and lunch), 1 SAC Sponsored Dinner
    • 2 days of Technical Training from SAC Authorized trainers
    • Hands on time with the latest equipment
    • Certificate of Completion for Overview of SAC NDB system

5 Day Training Event:

  • WHEN: October 6-10, 2014
  • WHERE: Houston, Texas, USA
  • COST: Please contact us for more information. Cost includes:
    • Hotel for 6 nights (May 4-9 or October 5-10)
    • Meals: 5 days (breakfast and lunch), 1 SAC Sponsored Dinner
    • 4 days of Technical Training from SAC Authorized trainers and 1 day of testing for certification
    • Hands on training on installation, operation and troubleshooting with the latest equipment
    • Certificate of Completion for Certified Technician of SAC NDB system valid for 2 years

Southern Avionics Factory Five-Day Training Course

Southern Avionics’ factory training course offers a practical and comprehensive study of the Non-Directional Beacon transmitter system. Topics include:

  • Installation
  • Operation
  • Maintenance
  • Troubleshooting

The SAC instructors are the engineers and technicians who handle all aspects of our NDB systems from design and manufacturing to installation and customer support. This allows SAC to deliver custom instruction and maximize the value the training course provides.

Upon satisfactory completion of the course, a Certificate of Training is issued to each student.

Onsite Familiarization Training

For onsite training SAC engineers and instructors travel to your site to deliver customized instruction designed specifically for your instructional need on your Non-Directional Beacon transmitter system to include:

  • Installation and Operation
  • Maintenance
  • Troubleshooting
