SD Remote Ethernet Access

The SD Ethernet Serial Server Kit allows the user to connect his SD transmitter or SC Dual transmitter with RSIM controller to a local area network (LAN).

This allows the user to remote control his system from other parts of his network or from anywhere in the world through the internet.

This access package consists of an Ethernet to RS232 Serial converter with associated cables and power supply. The Ethernet to Serial converter package is shipped in DHCP mode which allows the customer's server to set the internal network address of the connected transmitter. The transmitter can now be accessed from other parts of the customer's internal network with the associated software.

If the customer desires to access the transmitter from other parts of the world, then the customer's firewall administrator will assign an external public address that can be accessed through any computer that has connection to the Internet. Multiple transmitters can be connected to a customer's network as long as each transmitter has an Ethernet Serial Converter option installed.

Up to 8 users can access a transmitter at any time.
